CCT – Client-centred therapy, client discussing their thoughts and emotions with the therapist listening to work towards seeing things from the client point of view and then allowing the client to work their way to their own answers.
CBT – Focus on the present and on how changes in thinking can change behaviours.
Psychoanalysis – Focussing on changing problematic behaviours, feelings, and thoughts by discovering their unconscious meanings and motivations. Through a close working partnership the client learns about themselves by exploring their interactions in the therapeutic relationship.
